I spent most of the day doing some work for
kansaiboys. It took up a good chunk of my day, but that's to be expected.
It seems that most of the things I wanted to do before New Year's will be extended into after New Year's. Which isn't all that surprising, and it's not like I'm working. And it's always hectic until New Year's is over, anyway.
My mother and I went to the local Japanese video rental store today, and we borrowed the first Death Note movie because we're been meaning to watch it and the first episode of Teppan Shoujo Akane to see how it was.
We just finished the first episode of Teppan Shoujo Akane, and... I have to admit, it's not exactly my cup of tea.
I'm usually okay with a bit of cheese. But this had... a lot of cheese. Very much a lot of cheese. Very cheesy.
And some of the acting wasn't all that great. Granted, it's not something that would kill me to watch, but it's not something that's going to be anywhere near the top of my "to-watch" list, either.
And I now know what some people had meant about the weird CG. Yeeaaah.
Two good points about the drama, however, were that it had Jinnai Takanori in it and the theme song. "Sayonara" by Orange Range, I think? And I just love Jinnai. :D
Nevertheless, I do believe we aren't renting anymore of fit. xD
Oh! I finished downloading Dive to the Future. :DDD I can't wait for the other two K8 winter break specials, too!
