I want a pet lizard. One of those cool bearded things that grow and grow until you're like "How'd it get to three feet!?" I'll settle for one of those cute ones in the garden, though. I just want one of the big ones because I wanna be shocked all to hell when it grows to the size of my room or something. Or a cool snake, but nothing that's gonna

Aren't they just as mean as alligators and crocodiles?

Oh no, Komodo dragons are far more interesting. They run faster for one thing, and actually have proper claws. Oh and of course if you get bitten by one, they don't actually do any damage.

Except their saliva is horribly poisonous and you die slowly and incureably of a rather lovely form of septacemia
