Break was great. I got to try singing kareoke for the first time, I went skiing for the first time in six years, I made a bunch of new friends and saw most of my old ones, except for Amy who was getting ready to go to Costa Rica. I miss her.
I also started talking to this random kid from Zahm- his name's Ryan and he looks so similar to a younger Aragorn that it's quite funny. He's nice, and we got a group of our friends together the other day to play marathon charades for 3.5 hours. I hope we all get to hang out more over the semester.
So now I'm back, but I don't have my computer. My parents took it from me, saying that I'm too addicted to the internet. Hence I am no longer online, except sporadically. I'm actually starting to think this not having my own computer thing might be a halfway decent idea, to be quite honest. I get up and out of my room and am on time to classes so far, and I can get on for an hour or two at a time in my free time at Coleman-Morse or the library, so I can keep up with LJs and keep my Neopet alive and check my email every day. Just not so much, which isn't necessarily bad. I wonder how long I can keep this up.
Seeing everyone here is great, if a bit insipid. I've been feeling kind of quiet since I got back, even though there have been many festivities over Mary's and Tedd's birthdays (happy birthday, both of you!). Quiet's not always a sign of impending doom, though. It'll probably do me good to keep my mouth shut for awhile.
