++ The Colorado Shakespeare Festival put up their official pictures of the plays this summer! So I decided to pick some that I thought depicted what I painted this summer well. Not as awesome as 'in production' photos, but like I said a couple of weeks ago: my camera ate all my pictures I took this summer...

Hamlet

that big leaning tall piece at the front? I PAINTED THAT :D :D
all the pieces that are covered? yeah those are set pieces that are part of Much Ado covered in fabric... that we had to paint IN PLACE. that's right people. I had to paint those bitches in place. Had to put plastic down and fucking got black/grey paint ALL OVER ME. It looked like I was attacked. Val and I were not happy that day. Let me tell you. LSH.

Much Ado About Nothing

OH HEY LOOK! those walls... they look familiar... just flip one around (the one with the door has HAMLET behind it and then cover two with fabric.... and MOVE THEM AND TADA YOU HAVE HAMLET. LSH. idek.

But this set? my favorite. I think it is beautiful. I worked on the walls with Sam for this one. Doing all the dirt and the blue was my favorite!

Also, I did the lattice all by my lonesome as well. TAKE THAT :D :D :D

To Kill a Mockingbird

This show? Had me going crazy. Want to know why? For DAYS all I did was work on those slats on the houses. Each "slat"? is a real slat. at about 7 inches tall and like 8 feet long. Want to know the process? That I had to do individually and all by myself?!?
base coat
lay glue down and let it dry aka push it along with a heat gun
put the peel color on and then heat gun it and have a scraper and peel up some of the paint to give it a weathered look. KFHLDAKSAL

ON EVERY PIECE. and then Sam went through and did the dirt. I also did this on all of the railing pieces. *pulls at hair* thinking about it makes me hyperventilate.

Two Gentlemen of Verona

This set? I was Co Paint Charge on. I painted the entire set myself. Only Sam helped me paint the floor ♥

OMG IDK IF YOU CAN TELL but that floor? is beautiful. I LOVE IT. It has like 10 colors in it or more. Awesome.

If you want to look at them at my online portfolio then please do!. They are the same pictures though :o)
Also, it is a good place to go if you haven't seen my other work!

paint charge, scenic artist, pictures, portfolio nonsense, beth paints sometimes
