So. holy shit. I havent updated this thing in a month or two. i figured i should get on it.I, am stressed. and sick. I really hate having all of my hard classes at once. I'm so glad i took auto shop fourth period instead of killing myself and taking astronomy like i had originally planned. Projects are popping up day after day. I had no idea my Spanish project was due tomorrow and i already have an F in that class. Needless to say,i'm not going to school tomorrow. Not only because i feel as if my head may possibly explode, but because i cant afford to fuck up. I also have an F in American Government. And a D in Language Arts. this, is not my semester. Three months to turn it all around. I'm so fucked. I'm freaked. and it's not even the acedemic part i worry about for the most part, it's losing contact with my friends from West Seattle once we graduate. I've had horrible luck with that. the only thing that's keeping me sane right now is music. On a lighter note, my social life is just fabulous. my weekend went something like this:
Saturday I met up with Warren and Amanda and we went up to Broadway. the main points of this outing was i didnt want to go alone to meet up with Travis, for the first time, getting Anti-Flag Tickets, and getting Felix some super snazzy shades. Meeting with an older man you've only talked to online, not such a good idea, so Warren and amanda were nice and came with me. Travis gave me fliers to pass out and off we went. We were walking around, looking for a place to eat and someone walks by and hands us a flyer talking about how we shouldnt eat at KFC because they tourture chickens. As soon as we round the corner, what do we see? KFC. All i'm saying is, tourturing the chickens must add flavour. it was great. and when we went outside, of course the crazy broad who handed us the flyer was right there. HAHAHA. I found it amusing, at least. Then we walked up to Dick's to meet up with Felix.
Amanda and Warren then left, and Felix and I were on a mission to get Anti-Flag tickets at Sonic Boom. when we finally made it to Sonic Boom, we found out they weren't SELLING the tickets. so we were going to head back when Felix mentions something about Volunteer Park and how he hadnt been there in forever. Soo next thing i know we're wandering around in the park. haha. it was exciting to say the least. I had forgotten how much i like it over there. I most deff. want to have a picnic there sometime soon. Anyway, from there we hopped the 49 and went up to the U-district ( our other goal was to get Felix some bitchin' sunglasses, which we did). We went to Red Light and every used CD store in sight( and considering i was given 6 pounds of flyers, it was nice to relieve myself of half of them). We then left to go back downtown and split up to take our seperate busses.
My bus ride was possibly the most exciting busrides ever. I had an angry old white woman as a bus driver and about two miles from my house, she decides she doesnt like the attitude of someone in the front of the bus. SO she refuses to move the bus. After talking to some guy by the name of JD for about ten minutes about my day, i became bored and decided, "fuck it. I'm walking." So, my allergy and illness ridden self walked two miles home.
As soon as i got home, the phone rings. It's my cousin. the conversation went something like this:
" Dude. Come with me. My neighbor is having a birthday party for her grandmother in the basement of Saint Peters."
" umm. no." ( it's a known fact i am the anti-christ and any contact with a church could make my skin melt)
" Free cocktails!"
" fucking sweet! i'm so there"
So, i run around and get dressed. church appropriate. Which is difficult to do when you havent done so in nearly 12 years. Once i settle on an outfit and Felicity gets ready, we leave. We get there and i'm handed a plate of Pancet( have i told you of my love for philipinos? seriously. love em)by Maria and she asks if we want anything to drink. She comes back with two cups of straight up vodka with an explanation that they ran out of juice.I down it. My cousin however, can't drink straight liqour. So i end up drinking hers too. At that point i was feeling fabulous. Then, someone walks by me. I realise its the guy i was practically in love with in 5th grade that ended up dating my best friend at the time. Akward? slightly. In order to not do anything stupid, i decided the best answer to this would be to drink more. A few beers and a couple shots of whiskey later, i'm up dancing. it was grand.
Getting home was the fun part. I had had more to drink than my cousin, but i also have quite a high alcohol tolerance. Unfortunately, i had consumed all of that in an hours time. So i was having some difficultly walking in a straight line. My main goal: to not let my parents know i had been drinking. they never caught wise. Even when i hauled the computer we were giving my cousin down the stairs in heels. Fuck yes, i'm extreme indeed.
sunday i dont really remember. All i know is that i woke up feeling worse than i had the day before. My dad and I went to Tower and i bought Hannibal and the Hole cd i've been eyeing for the past month. Once i graduate it'll be better. I wont stress and i'll have a lot more time for absolutely mind-numbing stupidity.
I'm seeing the Strokes in a little less than a month and Flogging Molly on Wednesday.
a little more than a month till Selena's rebellion against all things parental. I'm getting my fucking lip pierced. no joke. AND i'm gettng a "tramp stamp".
