[Vash blinks at that and looks at Tetora for a while before sighing a little.]

[And Tetora does! But. In the meantime he goes and starts snarking some random teenaged couple and then being simultaneously nice to an old woman. Problem child. And yes, he does at one point pull his hand out and shows it has blood on it to spook the teenagers. What! HE GOES TO SCHOOL WITH THEM.]

[Vash comes back with a malt with some vodka he was able to sneak out of the alcoholic cook's stash (that guy's on a path to getting fired anyway, nobody cares anymore) and sort of...stares at Tetora before putting it in front of him.]

[Tetora nods and goes to drink it, being pretentious like oh yeah gulp. And then has to stifle some coughing from it. He then grins weakly and points his clean finger at Vash.]

[Vash picks up a napkin off the table and offers it to Tetora, taking a seat across from him.]

Yeah, I would think that'd be really rough. How long has she been upset with you?

[Tetora looks a bit surprised at the nice gesture, and takes it with a head bow.]

[He cleans off his hand a bit, and then reaches in with that napkin to shove it against the wound.]

Sorta. She's understandably distant. Stays with Hong Kong a lot, her brother. I send her like... flowers and stuff, but I don't know...

[He shrugs a bit and drinks another hefty amount of his drink.]
