Here Jayne, have a pretty girl who won't put up with your nonsense legallygreen June 7 2011, 22:28:51 UTC
(ooc: If multiple threads aren't cool, let me know, no worries)

Heels from boots that made the petite woman and inch or two taller clicked along the sidewalk, a wide umbrella open over her head even if the rain had let up for a bit. Jennifer had managed some sleep, and her arm still bothered her a bit, having healed more slowly than usual from other wounds. But it had not kept her from getting up and dressing respectably before leaving the Blackstone.

It seemed more people were appearing at the Bean, and if she was not going to be of any use to the angels, she might as well be of use somewhere else. When she saw the grizzled man, she might have turned around and walked off if she were any other woman. But instead she approached him, almost managing a smile.

"Good morning."

First dragons, and now a woman?

Maybe the Reavers got in and he was dead, after all. But if he was, he still couldn't tell whether this was heaven or hell just yet. Though this particular visitor got some extra points for heaven.

"'s it just mornin'?" Jayne asked tiredly.

"It is, though I can see how it would be difficult to tell. You look exhausted. I suggest getting you somewhere safe and warm, and then explaining what you've been dropped into. It's not pleasant." Jennifer replied, giving him a once-over.

She dug in her bag, pulling out an umbrella from the supply of small travel ones she had been carrying ever since the rain started. "This should keep a little more of the rain off your head should it start truly downpouring again."

Safe. Ha. Weren't nowhere that was real safe anymore. Warm, though... Warm might not be so bad. Especially if it involved a girl like this.

"'Preciate it," he mumbled, pushing himself up again. "Don't s'pose breakfast's comes with all that, does it?"

"The nice thing about this place, the only nice thing I suspect, is that our living expenses are paid for. So you will be able to get any amount of warm meals you want at the hotels." Jennifer replied with a nod.

She reached out, offering him a hand up. "My name is Jennifer Walters."
