“Bloody hell,” Tonks cursed as she appeared with a pop... Or should have appeared with a pop. Hadn’t she apparated to the Ministry? She stumbled and fell to the pavement as she lost her footing.
Her head whipped around, trying to figure out where exactly she was... How she had appeared there. She scrambled up, grip tightening on her wand as she went through possibilities of what had happened. All she had to do was Apparate back home... Get to the Ministry and help the Order. She slowly stood and spun in place with a loud pop... Only to appear back at the exact spot she’d been standing before, her arm splinched a little from the failed apparation. She hissed in pain and crumpled back to the ground, holding her arm as she tried to remember simple healing spells... Something to at least bandage the bleeding wound on her arm.
