Team 3 - Harris Theater (Fleur, Aqua, Vin) notthatjason May 14 2011, 03:01:54 UTC
Approaching the park from the North your team is going through the Harris Theater, the structure is partly underground and allows for a lot of exploration and also lets out into the Jay Pritzker Pavilion.

Your trek through is mostly quiet up until the end where a group of 6-9 Blampires ambush you from behind. One or two may even be spell casters and all of them will use the shadows in the theater to their advantage.

Aqua wasn't entirely sure to make of this whole affair, but she agreed with Terra on one point. The vampires couldn't be allowed to stay any longer. Not when there was only going to be more people arriving; people who wouldn't necessarily know what to do with this kind of threat. Of course, that didn't mean it was any less bizarre, but no matter. There were people's lives at stake here.

And as far as she was concerned that was the most important thing. Even if she didn't quite know if she would be able to handle what she'd need to.

Vin hung back from the rest of her group, trying to banish that odd feeling of weariness that had been plaguing her for days. Even burning pewter hadn't seemed to do anything to ward it off, which was more than a little concerning. Still, it was far too late to back out now. The vampires had taken over the entry point of the city and, judging by the network, had gotten at least one new arrival already. She couldn't just sit back and let that happen again.

She shook her head and flared tin briefly to clear her senses and studied the building. Walking in the front door was probably about the worst idea they could come up with, there had to be a better way in.

Fleur was gung-ho about this mission. Vampires were at least a little more familiar than the shadow creature she had dealt with not long ago... Still, vampires were a nuisance and she wouldn't let an infestation of them pose a threat on the rest of the population. Muggles, non-wizards and wizards alike would be threatened by the creatures...

She paused midstep and cocked her head at the theatre. "Zere must be a stage door we can go through, oui?" she murmured to the other girls.

"There should be," Aqua answered with a nod. Where exactly it was, she wasn't sure, but they had to get the performers in somehow. Or out, if it came to that. "Probably around one of the sides?"

Although really, as far as she was concerned, they just needed a door. Something that wasn't the front door, and if it happened to be locked, she could take care of that.

"Or a window." Vin stepped forward, glancing once more toward the roof of the building. She didn't like this at all, it felt too much like a trap. "Let's get this over with."

She moved forward, staying low and to the shadows wherever she could and as quietly as she could, to round the corner in search of a side entrance.
