Team 2 - Wrigley Square (Jason Grace, Harry Potter, Roxas) notthatjason May 14 2011, 02:57:28 UTC
This team enters through Wrigley Square which is very open but the nearby Greek-style structure can provide excellent hiding for any vampires.

Strangely, however, the park is not empty and you may find some humans camping out there. Don't let your guard down though as these are just thralled human slaves to the Blampires and they WILL attack once the group tries to get past the park. There is also a small group of Blampires nearby, about 3-5 who WILL use the humans as shields or distractions.

Roxas stopped at a spot that he hoped was far enough outside the square to avoid notice by anything hanging around inside and waited for his companions. It wouldn't be good if he went in before anyone arrived and got himself killed.

He had his Keyblade out already. Better to be ready and with his power weakened here it simply took too long to summon it. And magic... he was trying to decide if he should reserve it for healing or go ahead and toast the vampires. It was occurring to him a bit late that maybe he should have asked about his team mates' abilities...

Jason had grabbed the ax he had obtained from his quest a few months back, he had been practicing with it in his spare time. He had a hint of a memory that he had trained with an ax before, but he would still feel better with a sword. It's magic properties gave him some comfort, however, and he felt as though it would come in handy. He carried other weapons as well, mostly of the 'vampire killing' variety in a backpack ( ... )

Harry arrived a moment or two after them, wand in hand. "Sorry." He apologized, "Forgot to watch the time."

He flicked his wand hand, showing his bare wrist and put out the barely there ball of light coming from the tip. "Whenever you're ready, let's go."

Roxas noticed Jason staring at the Keyblade, but said nothing. Now wasn't really the time to be discussing the details about their weapons. They had worked to do, though he regretted thinking of it that way almost immediately. It sounded too much like another mission from the Organization when he looked at it like that. Although... this situation was anything but. He wasn't helping some overly secretive group of jerks working toward a selfish goal here.

Still, it did need to be taken seriously. Which was why Roxas never had any intentions of heading in before their third companion showed up.

"Ready whenever you are," he said as Harry arrived.

Harry joined them shortly and Jason just shrugged at his lateness. There wasn't really a set time for all of this since, honestly, the daylight thing had failed. Now it was just a matter of sweeping through and taking down as many vampires as possible to clear the area. He hoped the other teams would do well. "Let's go then ( ... )
