After about ten minutes of debate, Jennifer decided to leave the gun in her room. It did not seem like a welcoming idea when Charity had been kind enough to invite her to a home-cooked dinner, and having had the woman's Thanksgiving dinner, she was pleased to accept. Ever since investigating the sound of the ringing bells, she had been curious about knowing more about the woman who had been so self posessed, so sure of herself. Almost like She-Hulk without the green flesh.
She had picked up a dozen lilies at the near by florist shop, which had a glut of half-dead roses left over, unfortunately, moving on to the fresher looking flowers. With her flowers in the crook of her arm, wearing a soft blue skirt and white blouse, she made her way down to the small dining room that Charity had indicated. With a smile, she adjusted her glasses, then knocked on the door politely, making sure she was in the right place.
