Perhaps it was surprising that she hadn't picked a decked-out ballroom and completely transformed it into some sort of shrine to the different forms of love. While Rapunzel and Alice had obviously tastefully redecorated the room with softly-glowing lanterns and a new paint job to give the theatre a romantic chic feel, there was a lack of unsubtle hints towards the romantic aspect of Valentine's Day. Sure there were seats together and Alice eyed certain couples with a watchful and plotting gaze, but the atmosphere was relaxed. Old-school jazz and big band played in the background and there was enough food to satisfy anyone.
It looked like she had listened after all.
