"Give a little whistle!"
Characters: Skysong, and anyone who'd like to find a baby dragon
Time: late afternoon, shortly before sundown
Location: Millennium Park at the Cloud Gate

Warnings: Kit can't speak human, so characters will have to deal with body language and tone of whistle/chirp as her forms of communication.
Skysong stood on her hind paws and chirped uncertainly. The towering structures surrounding her bore no resemblance to the castle turrets or ordinary houses to which she'd been accustomed. And the large structure of shiny metal with no apparent purpose was just strange. The diminutive dragon spun quickly, taking in the people and streets surrounding the park. She saw neither Daine nor Numair anywhere, and there was no sign of Tkaa or of any familiar humans or animals. It didn't seem like any part of the Divine Realms that she knew of though. Concentrating, Kit tried to get herself home. It might not feel like the Divine Realms, but architecture like this existed nowhere in the mortal world that Kitten knew.
Unfortunately, this attempt met with no success whatsoever. She croaked her frustration, the sound imbued with something that any particularly perceptive mages nearby might be able to sense as an odd sort of magic. Her scales developed a reddish tinge for a moment, and the dragon took a second look at her surroundings. If she was stuck here, she should learn as much about it as she could. Especially since there were so many things to see.
While Skysong was certainly far from happy about having no say in where she was or ability to get home to her makeshift family, this place was new in every way and as such fascinating. She voiced a few quick trills, high and clear, seeing if anything lit up with a magical signature. Contrary to her expectations, the odd metal sculpture did not. What purpose could it have, if not as a mage's focus?
If anyone here had an explanation for what had happened, it would probably be the mages. Now she just had to find one.
