WHO: Agent Spin, open to NPCs and players alike
LOCATION: The Navy Pier area
TIME: Earlyish morning
WHAT: Spin makes a curious discovery, and looks for someone who can help him understand it
RATING: Hopefully it'll keep low, but all things considered... PG-13 sounds good
It had taken some hard time thinking to get used to the idea of where he was, what was going on. The incident in the hotel had been overwhelming enough on its own, and more than enough to come to terms with. And the lack of Music had been a mental block that Spin wasn't so much unable to wrap his head around as he straight up didn't want to get used to it. Then he heard about J and Starr's encounter, and, well, it was just a lot to get used to, okay?
When it had come down to it, though, it didn't give any sort of excuse for him to sit back and mope. If anything, it was just the opposite; Things were more bizarre than ever, which was saying a lot for this line of work. People would need help, and even if he didn't get it all, he was still going to go out and offer what he could.
First things first, it would be good to get a solid layout of the city in his head. A passing familiarity was well and good, but the more situated he could be, the better. Spin had taken up walking the streets and memorizing what he could of the layout.
So here he was, checking the piers, taking in the scent of the lakes and looking out over the water. It looked like it was going to be a nice day, ignoring the wall of fog in the distance. Eyes set on that distant wall of gray, Spin didn't notice the object on the ground until his foot was tangled in fur.
Luckily, making a living by being graceful kept him from anything more than a light stagger, before the agent looked down at the belt lying oh-so-innocently on the ground. He blinked at it, before kneeling down to examine the thing further. The thing sure looked odd enough, not like something you'd find in the average shop, at least. But it was just a belt. He brushed the fur, and found it a thick, bristling texture, followed shortly by the faintest notion of a tingle in his fingers... or had he imagined that?
"Do think twice..." It was best not to take chances around here. But it was also best not to leave suspicious stuff like this where someone else could let their curiosity take over... Spin chewed his lip a moment, before picking up the accessory and slinging it over his shoulder. There were people around who might know it, right? He'd let them take a look.
