He didn't acknowledge the woman that called out to him - another of those silly pawns. He brushed passed her, continuing on to his destination. Let the others in this city deal with her - there were enough monsters roaming in the street to deal with one measly pawn.

He walked past her as if she were not even there. Jennifer reached out as he brushed past her, touching his arm. There was something wrong with him, maybe something that was effected by the building disappearing. Worried, she tried to get him to stop, though she was much smaller than the man.
"Neal, stop. What's wrong?"

No need to have the plan fall apart now...
Neal faltered in his step, blinking down at Jennifer's hand on his arm and then looking back at her. It took a moment for him to collect his thoughts, and even when he did, he still looked slightly dazed.
"Jennifer? What are you doing out here?"

Neal shifted restlessly, in the throes of a nightmare of his own - he hadn't woken up ever since their arrival in the church.
Jamie was curled up one of the pews, knees to his chest. He didn't look tired, but every so often, his chin would slowly lower down onto his chest.

There, the blood was dry and obscured what looked like a wound that had been healing for days instead of hours. She sighed softly and leaned back, trying to soothe Neal with a gentle hand on his forehead. No help yet, but she had tried to contact people outside. The oppressive darkness was getting to them all though.
"Someone is coming." She said softly, perhaps to reassure Jamie, perhaps to reassure herself.

Sometime during the hours of waiting she had sat down against the wall and pulled her knees up, resting her arms on them. Exhaustion pressing down on her, she'd found her mind wandering back to her "fight" with the Inquisitor. It was only the second time since she'd discovered her powers that she'd faced something she couldn't defeat and couldn't escape from. Her pewter was gone and she had only specks of her steel and iron remaining, nothing that would do her any good in a fight and that man, that thing was still out there waiting for the chance to make its move ( ... )

Kate.
Jamie rested his chin on his knees and shivered. "I know. I just...is it dawn yet?"
