Yue took account of her own garments for a moment, and plainly answered the question at hand, "We appear to have been teleported to a forest and dressed in garb befitting the time period." Yue took account to find her knife, wand, broom, and card were all on hand. If she desired clothes a bit more her comfort zone she could summon her artifact. However, Yue didn't care about what she was wearing, just that she was dressed. She also did not want to guess why that would be a concern for her amnesia riddled brain.

"We've been picked for a mission by... whatever brought us to the city in the first place," she had a run down of the adventure in the seas of heaven given to her. Given the wardrobe change she couldn't gather the usefulness of her compatriots on that value. The skittish one was probably a capable enough individual, given her quick reaction to it. The others... she would have to assume they were all worthless until proven otherwise. "I would guess early Japan, before China's influence on culture."

Yue stopped herself from explaining why that was, but had the explanation in her head in case one of them was foolish enough to ask.

Terra looked surprised, looking around wide-eyed as his surroundings. First he was randomly transported to a city and now a forest. This time, however, it seemed his clothing has changed as well. The robes he was wearing were a black and tan color scheme and he had a breast plate over his chest. The thing that bothered him the most was that the armor he wore on his left arm had changed as well and now looked like a samurai arm piece more than anything.

He was curious as to what the full armor must look like now but decided not to test it just yet. Instead he looked around at the others, glad to see Sora but otherwise unfamiliar with the faces around him. "A mission. So has something like this occurred before for people in Chicago?" Terra directed his question at the small girl who seemed to know a bit about what was going on. He crossed his arms, "Do we know what the mission is or are we supposed to guess?" If there was a mission then the only thing to do was to complete it as soon as possible right?

Vin turned away during Yue's explanation of what had happened. The words "Japan" and "China" meant nothing to her but the part about being sent on a mission was what got her attention. So it looked like things in this "Chicago" place weren't so free after all. She glanced over at the two who had spoken so far, studying her newfound teammates carefully. The big one was obviously a warrior if that armor were any indication and the small girl had the look of a scholar but none of the others looked like a fighter (then again, neither did Vin at first glance.)

Glancing around, she spotted the parchment laying on the ground at their feet and moved forward, grumbling as she crouched in those cumbersome, impractical robes. She'd have to find herself something new as soon as possible, or at least something to wear beneath it so she could discard the useless things when she needed to. Where were her clothes anyway?

Dismissing the thought for the moment, she studied the drawing on the parchment which depicted what was obviously a sword and shield along with some kind of... bean. Frowning, she straightened and held the picture toward her companions.

"It must have something to do with this. Does it look familiar to any of you?"

The clothing changes were still nothing unusual to Sora, who had found himself in black, red and yellow robes when he woke up this time. Sora took in his surroundings and the mostly unfamiliar group of people, breathing a sigh of relief when he spotted Terra, at least there was a friend here.

"This is the second time I've been sent on one of these things, Terra," Sora replied to the older boy's question, "I think things like this happen a lot."

He wasn't pleased with the situation. Putting people into danger for the sake of reasons that were not going to be shared with them, made him angry. How many had gotten hurt on 'missions'? He stayed quiet as he listened to what the other people caught in the mess were saying. It was Japan alright. He'd heard his master talk about it before. He'd only seen it after the ground had been flattened by the Earl's attack.

The boy eyed the robes and remembered his first Exorcist coat. He could work with this. He approached Vin where she was studying the drawing and frowned. "I haven't seen it before." But it tugged at his memory. While Cross had been a horrible man with loathesome habits, he'd made sure Allen had some form of education...meager as it was.

Yue was quiet for a little while, none of her companions were familiar with old Japanese lore. She supposed her position on this mission was due to her knowing what was going on. They didn't seem to fall into the mission quite like what was described to her by Derek. Due to how they were handling it none of them seemed to be a novice to the unnatural. She doubted that they were acclimated to this just from being in Chicago, but that is possible. Either way she could see a bit more value in the others, even if she couldn't be exactly sure of what skills they had to offer (other than the already mentioned lack of Japanese history lessons).

Yue pondered over the impact this mission had, coupled with the last one. Dealing with Gods first and now sacred treasures. Finally, the small girl spoke again, "I know what they are, the Three Imperial Treasures of Japan. Secret artifacts used as part of the enthronement ceremony for the Emperor. Handed down from the Sun Goddess Amaterasu into the hands of the first Emperor of Japan. Of course, any stories of the artifacts and supernatural must be taken with a bit of consideration. They are three artifacts supposed to be seen only by the Emperor and the priests that protect them."

The important thing though, which she hoped the others got without her bringing it up, was that they were stealing from either an Emperor or (legends being true) a Goddess. Either way, the accompanying punishment for these were most likely death. They really should be as careful as they can with this. Probably best not to bring that up till she knows how well the others handle such things.

Vin glanced over at the boy who approached her, he had a strange look about him. With that strange mark over his left eye and that hair, stark white, she'd never seen hair like that on anybody so young. At least a head taller than her too but that wasn't anything out of the ordinary, everybody was taller than her.

Her thoughts were interrupted when the other girl in the group spoke again, at least somebody knew what they were here for. Gods and emperors again. Whoever had picked Vin for this job seemed to know what they were doing, she had no problem defying either of those.

"And they sent us here to steal them." She couldn't help but smile a little. She'd been sent on a heist, three sacred artifacts to be taken from right under the nose of an emperor of a country. It almost sounded fun. "I guess we know what that bell means now."

Vin looked in the direction of where the sound had come from. If what Yue said was true there was only one day where they could be sure of where the Treasures were. Just their luck that it would probably also be the riskiest.

Terra looked over when one of the girls knelt down to pick up a scroll. It looked like it had been there just waiting for them and Terra concluded it must have something to do with the mission that had been mentioned. He studied the objects and shook his head, "I recognize what the objects are...but I'm afraid I don't know their significance." Before Yue spoke up he briefly pondered what the three items could have in common.

"They sound very important," Terra commented after Yue finished explaining what they were. "Are you sure we should be stealing them? It doesn't seem right." Terra had done enough wrong things in his life, he didn't really want to add theft to the list...even if it may seem minor in comparison to the rest of his actions. Still, if they had to get the items in order to accomplish something maybe he didn't have a choice.

This was completely ridiculous. Rosette had heard about some of these "missions" - given how connected the network let everyone be, it was hard not to know about them - but she somehow hadn't expected to wind up on one herself. Now she was in some ridiculous outfit, being told they were to steal the equivalent of the crown jewels from a nation halfway across the world, which they'd just magically wound up in.

Best laid plans, huh.

"No, it doesn't," she agreed with the big guy's assessment, "but I'd be willing to bet the guys in charge won't let us go back to Chicago until we do." If they'd sent this group of six here for that task, then it stood to reason that they weren't going anywhere until it was finished. It wasn't pessimism so much as realism. That didn't make Rosette like it any more.

Allen wasn't at all surprised the objects to be stolen were mixed in with power and painful death if they were caught. He rubbed his temples. "We don't have a choice." He agreed with a frustrated tint to his tone. "If we can find a way back ourselves I'd say we take it but I wouldn't hold my breath about it." He couldn't access the Ark or the Fourteenth's song to connect with the mythical artifact of power.

"I don't think any of us want to steal the holy artifacts or risk the wrath of a Goddess. But if we're to pull this off we have to work together."
