Something was amiss here.

Firo started to mentally retrace his steps. First, he woke up this morning, got dressed, had something small for breakfast, then went out to stop by the Gandor Family's territory before heading to the Martillo's underground casino. Right, there had been talk of some thugs wandering around the area and causing a ruckus or something like that. And it wasn't kosher for him to drag his own Family into that mess, childhood friends or not, but that didn't mean he couldn't at least check up on the three brothers and see how the situation was coming along.

Yes, that was exactly how the day was going. So how did he get from there to here?

Firo glanced around, slowly taking in his surroundings. All the tall buildings were familiar in a way, but that was about it. He knew the streets well, and was pretty sure there wasn't a single place in Manhattan arranged like this, with a...

"Just what kinda guy came up with this?"

... with a giant metal bean sitting around. Firo blinked at it for a moment longer, rapping his knuckles lightly against the metallic surface experimentally. When nothing happened, he tugged down his hat and walked a bit further out--hoping to get a better look at where he was. Or, even better, maybe find someone who could answer some questions. The city looked like it could certainly have more than a few people hanging around.
