"I'm fine," Zoro simply said in response to her comment about his bloody appearance. No, he wasn't fine, but it wasn't like a few scratches were going to stop him.
He blinked once at the letters that appeared in the air beside her, but didn't show any other sign of surprise. "Knives Chau... is this island on the Grand Line? How far away is the Sabaody Archipelago?" He figured he should check his Vivre Card first (if it had survived the windy flight) but knowing how long it would take to get back was probably a better idea. He'd still need to gather supplies, find a Den Den Mushi, get some bandages...

But who knows, he could be carrying a one-up right now. Would explain the ignoring of obviously critical injury and the crater mentality.
Knives, before meeting Scott, was very good in school. In fact, she still was very good in school still. However, she had no idea what the Grand Line was, or where the Sabaody Archipelago was. Now, they could be very minor things about America she never head of, but he didn't look local. Something about the crater. And, what she did know was Chicago wasn't an island. "This isn't an island, this is Chicago, we're kinda landlocked here... except for the lake." She sighed, "We probably need to find someone who can take care of your injuries."

"Hn," Zoro grunted. He looked down at himself, at his aching muscles and bloody skin. Knives Chau probably did have a point- Zoro couldn't risk falling unconscious or being any more weakened during his journey back. "Probably. But I don't have time to rest for more than a couple days. I need to get going as soon as possible."
