Alphonse had mentioned that Fletcher was here also, but it didn't seem like anyone else they knew was; it was just the three of them, and the Tringham brothers. So, after heading to the hotel that that crotchety old man had mentioned and getting a room, Ed had figured out how to call up Fletcher on that phone device, and set up a meeting in the room the Elric brothers and Winry had taken.
Now, they just waited for them to show up. Partially, Edward was dreading it. Fletcher was a good kid, but though Russel's heart was in the right place, he was still a jerk. Maybe he'd gotten better over the past few years, but who knew?
Either way, he'd find out once they got there. In the meantime, he flipped through his travel notebook, which he'd started writing down observations of Chicago in.
