Content: A Night Fury crashes to the ground, and finds his partner missing upon awaking.

Warnings: Toothless is having a bad day.
Pain. That was the first thing Toothless noticed when he woke up.
It wasn't as bad as he'd been expecting, though, considering he'd been expecting them to fall right in the middle of some very sharp rocks. He was alive, at least, and that was the best he could hope for when he was falling out of the sky. As he blinked and looked around, however, he realized that he wasn't anywhere near Berk anymore. He'd never seen rocks this smooth before, he marveled, glancing at the ground he was lying on. Then he stared at the big shiny thing towering above him, and saw himself staring back.
Then he realized something else: Hiccup wasn't here.
Toothless was on his feet in an instant, ignoring the protests of his tired limbs. He looked around wildly for the boy, skirting all the way around the giant thing, going under it, practically flying down the dark stone path nearby - that was smooth, too; what was this place? - calling out for him frantically.
Where was he?!
He thought with growing horror about the rocks they'd been falling toward. If Toothless wasn't there to help, Hiccup wouldn't possibly survive the fall. Not that they'd have survived it anyway, but that wasn't the point! Why wasn't he here? They'd been together just seconds ago; he couldn't have gone far.
Toothless slowed to a halt, panting. He still didn't see Hiccup anywhere. He didn't see anything that was even remotely like Berk, or the sea they'd been flying over. Just eerily smooth rock paths, Vikings that weren't dressed like the ones from Berk, and giant... things all over. He gave the place one last, desperate glance. But, failing to spot his friend, he made his way back to the big shiny structure and curled up underneath it, one eye open. Maybe, he thought, if this is where he'd woken up, Hiccup wouldn't be far behind.
