Trip to Canada Trust

Back story: About a year ago, Research in Motion announced they'd open a branch here in the Halifax/Dartmouth area. This made big news, as with any companies that choose to come to Atlantic Canada (after receiving a nice government incentive).

This afternoon: I walked into a TD Canada Trust branch and the following conversation ensued at the booth.

Teller 2:
Me:
Teller 2:

Teller 2:Hi, I would like to deposit this into my US Account.
Sorry, this is my first time doing this.
Hey you're not one of this RIM guys are you?
RIM? Research in Motion? Oh, no.
Good, 'cuz I hate those guys.
...
All done. Sorry for thinking you're one of those RIM guys.

What's up with that? Maybe people at RIM are really cocky or something. Perhaps they're the only young people around here who have good jobs or something.  Oh, and I suppose I probably look like a typical RIM employee.  Haha, and at the end I told her I worked at TD Securities.
