What next?

Well, life is good.

I have friends.  What was I talking about some huge cloud ready to burst?  I still feel it coming, but there's no way it would happen now.

It's the first year I've ever seen someone outside my family on Christmas.  It really was a chance of fate, actually.  My favourite Christmas treat is the candy cane.  It is the cadbury cream egg of winter- time.  And of course, when Christmas comes around, what are we missing?  oh yeah, candy canes!  But then I remember what Tim said to me when we got coffee.  He was working Christmas, at Albertsons, and he told me to stop by.

I will not get inot all of the things that are wrong with people working on Christmas.  all I WILL say is that I find it horrible, and I can picture people, young and old, shivering around a cash register, wishing to be with their families.

However, when Tim told me they got paid, what was it, 5 times overtime?  I felt less bad.

But I felt bad enough to treck acrss town to the OTHER Albertsons where he was working to go see him.  and to get Julia's favoutite winter snack.

I got them.  They were yummy.  I saw Tim, it was fun, even though I was wearing for the most part the same clothes I wore the day before, but he will never know that. hahaha, but I was wearing my santa hat, and he was wearing his black one.

Mine is better.

But today we went out for coffee again, and while I think the real reason is that he was trying to expose me to Jones soda, aka, the official drama carbonated beverage, he incedently introduced me to a vanilla chai tea latte.  he paid for it, though, so i feel bad, I will have to make it up to him.

But we sat there for about an hour or so, talking about anything and everything, lostly the differences and similarities we notice in the friends we have in common.  Talking to him actauuly reminds me of the stuff I had been too busy to notice.  hhmmm I guess room service WAS pretty fun, definatly the most interesting.

He has introduced me to MONGOLIAN GRILL.  I must thank him for that.  we had lots of fun, too.   Michael Guccione came in, and i, being the spy that I am, pulled my hood up, and covered my face, hoping he wouldn't see me.  Gosh, I really must have looked stupid,  But Tim just laughed and played along.  he did, until Michael sat down next to us, at our table.  he was never fooled by my foolish disguise.

We went to a park.  it was pretty cold.  Pretty, as in really, really, and cold, as in freazing.  but we went for a walk to his old neighborhood.

Did you know there was a cemetary right smack dab in the middle of that suburb???

Well, we found this park, and I learned more about him than I ever thought he would tell.  I think he wouldn't want me to write it down.  It was nothing embarassing or anything, but I guess I fell like keeping a secret.  I know he'll never read this, but still.

I love Christmas lights, and he didn't laugh.  he even drove me around for an hour or two to see the ones people had on left.

I guess that's what real friendship is, huh?  I've never felt like this before, so i guess you really can get close to the people you never expect, huh?

If he ever found this, though, or anyone for that matter, I guess all I would have to say is:

Thanks for making life all the more special!  And for the ride!
