Elizabeth was unhappy with the entire notion that Jack would give command of the Swann over to a blind man who knows little to nothing about sailing over someone he has known far longer.

I don't much care for those reasons myself...I'm not very happy with this need he has to see me prove myself

I never claimed to hate you simply on principle, just that I didn't trust you.
I still don't, not completly anyway, but I said I would do what I could to help, and I keep to my word.
