I feel strangely, deliciously free

I hadn't realised how much my old LJ account was weighing upon my mind for many reasons. I've been unutterably miserable all day, and so I deleted my old account and started afresh - and a tremendously liberating experience it has been, as well. I hadn't written much of any worth recently, and I realise that the pressures of juggling my circle of friends on LJ had done that to me. Now I feel oddly light, like a great weight has been lifted from me.

I hope it lasts.
