Inigo sat, head in hands and tapping his feet against the chair to the rhythm of Domingo's hammer against the red-hot metal. Whenever Domingo put the sword into the bucket of water to cool it off, Inigo loved to inhale deeply the scent that would immerge, because all too quickly it would evaporate into the air. Domingo looked over at Inigo's curious eyes and smiled. "Someday, you wish to be a sword maker too, my son?"

Inigo nodded frantically as he continued to watch his father work, but this time, there was much more of a smile on his face. When he cooled the metal again, he set down his hammer and wiped his hands on his apron. "Son, I want to talk to you a moment." And he lead Inigo back to their home and away from the forge.

"I know this is what you think you want to do, but do not let yourself be limited to that possibility. You have a wide world of opportunity in front of you. All I will tell you is that whatever you decide to do, make sure you like doing it, and you do it well."

"Like you, Father?"

"Like me, my son."
