"You have numerous swords at your disposal, Captain. Why is it you prefer that one?"
"Did I not tell you the history of my sword?"
"Yes, but sentimental value can only get you so far. You could still mount it on a wall and gaze at it, that would retain said value. But in battle, one tailored to you would suit you better."
"I do not believe so." Inigo said, leaning back in his chair slightly as his brow furrowed in thought. "I have trained with this sword all of my career... even before. I am as much a part of the sword's history as it is mine." He drew the sword and the sound of metal rang through the air. Several of the other occupants looked over in alarm until they realized the sword was not drawn out of anger. "You see, there is a space after my hand where the sixth finger was to reside. I have come to use that extra space to my advantage. I doubt any sword tailored to me would match such, even if I asked for it."
Inigo put his sword away and cast a glance at the crewmember that asked him the question. "Why is it that you want to know? Are you seeking to challenge me?"
"No sir, I was simply curious. That is all."
"Pity. I haven't had a good duel from a worthy adversary in ages."
"We should be coming up to a port soon, perhaps you will find your challenge there."
"Perhaps. Off with you now."
"Yes, Captain."
