((OOC: For teh Sam and Dawn to freakz out))

Dawn remembered waking up, her legs hanging over the edge of something. The floor was cold, stone if her fingers were right. She pushed herself up slowly. Sitting up she groaned, her head hurt.

The last thing I remember was Gabriel and the brewery. What the hell happened? She opened her eyes to find ( Read more... )

Sam jerked awake, staring up at Dawn's face for a second, lost. He blinked and sat up, raising a hand to his face, and did a quick full-body assessment.

"God damn it," he muttered. "I fucking hate the Trickster." He scrubbed his hand through his hair, and then stopped, stock still. "He's not a trickster. Shit. Who is he?" Sam pushed himself unsteadily to his feet and looked around. "And where the hell are we?"

She smirked. "I'm beginning to see why." she looked around. "As for the Trickster. Your guess is as good as mine." she shrugged her shoulders.

"As for where we are, all I know is that its some kind of castle." she gestured to the throne. "Its seems late," she crossed her arms nodding towards the window. "based on the light left." she tucked her hair behind her ear. "That's assuming that the light changes outside."

She moved to the window looking at Sam as she walked backwards a few steps before turning to the large gothic style window. "Holy shit, there's no way that's-" she muttered. "What the hell?" she looked at the landscape around the castle. "That has to be the world's biggest labyrinth!" she let her eyes roam over the huge maze of twists and turns.

Sam came up behind her and gasped at the view out the window. "You've got to be kidding me," he said. "Jesus." He stepped away from the widow and dug in his pockets for his cell phone. "I'm gonna try to call Dean."

He put the phone up to his ear and stared unseeing out the window as the call went through. It rang and rang, and eventually went to Dean's voicemail. Sam huffed and left a message.

"Hey Dean, um. It's me. We're in a castle. I have no idea. Dawn and I are okay, though. Call me if you get this. I guess."

He hung up, and looked back at Dawn. All things considered, it wasn't a completely awful situation. Not that he was going to be graceless. No way. Dawn was way too awesome for that. He shrugged helplessly.

"I think we're on our own here."

"Okay so phone works," she smirked. "Odd that we're somewhere that's not normal and the phone works." She shook her head. "So I'm going to text Buffy, let her know too." she slipped her phone out of her pocket.

Her thumbs moved quickly as she typed out a message. "Sam and I OK. Sam called Dean left message. No clue where we're at but in huge castle. Find us!" She hit send and looked around.

"Okay so we're alone." she spoke trying not to smirk. "We need to come up with a plan, for now." she spoke eyeing Sam. "I'm assuming if this is a castle there was a kitchen and hopefully some food and some places to sleep." she ticked off each thing. "Hopefully the sleeping and the eating are taken care of. What do you think we should do now?"

Sam sighed. "Well, whether he gets the message or not is another story. Could just fly off into space, which, knowing my luck, would happen."

"Okay so we're alone."

He bit the inside of his cheek to keep the grin off his face as she spoke.

"What do you think we should do now?"

"Good question," he said. "Exploring? Let's see if there's a way out of here, and if we can't find one, let's find food."

"I'm liking the exploring. And after seeing the labyrinth outside I'm not wanting to even attempt to make my way though that." she smiled. "I would suggest splitting up, but given our unfamiliar unknown location I'm thinking is a colossally bad idea.Maybe we'll find something to clue us in on where we're at." she spoke before adding. "And the food thing is not a bad idea, maybe we'll find some coffee." she spoke with a smirk.

"I don't think splitting up's a good idea," Sam agreed. "Not that, you couldn't handle yourself, you know, but. Yeah." He grinned. Shut up, idiot. "I could do with some coffee, though. What time-- wow, that clock is... beyond unhelpful."

"I know right." she mentally flailed. "Um according to the clock we've been here," she stared at the clock for a moment, "just about a hour. I think." she spoke walking toward the corridor that lead to the throne room. "Seeing as its one way in and one way out," she peeked down the dimly light corridor. "This way."

Okay she was totally happy to have some alone time with Sam. Not how she wanted to have that time ideally, but she would try to make the best use of the opportunity. No Buffy or Dean do give them a hard time.

As they walked down the hall way there on the walls were more wrought iron sconces with large pillar candles. She began looking for anything that might give her a clue, art, sculpture anything. So far just more sconces and candles.

Up a head she could see a niche, some thing was in the freeze. It looked short and stocky. She looked at the squat figure and the awful look on its face. It remind her of that huge carved gnome she saw at Epcot that once ( ... )

Sam peered at the statue and wrinkled his nose. "That can't be Norse. We'd have to be a lot colder, too. Maybe it's a goblin."

The goblin blinked at them, scowling.

"Holy shit," Sam hissed. "Was that--?"
