An Awkward Surprise with immortalwin

Sam really hadn't had a full nights sleep in a long time. So when he was woken up by something unknown, he wasn't too surprised. He shifted sleepily and blinked through his hair to check his watch. 6:27am. Perfect. They had to get going early today anyway. He stretched on his stomach and rolled off of his sleeping bag up into a sitting position.

Sam ignored Lucifer's comment and continued on with the conversation. "As a vampire? Dean... No demon would deal. Castiel got you out. Just like he got me out."

He knew arguing with Dean wasn't gonna get anywhere, but he had a tough time dealing with the fact that Dean was completely different at the moment.

"You found one that wild, I don't know how. The demon didn't even ask for anything, thought having I deal with me as a monster was punishment enough, that you'd have to kill me or something if I tried to hurt somebody. But you didn't," he smiled a little then cocked his head realizing what else he said. "What's a Castiel?"

This conversation was just one confusing topic after another. "Castiel... The Angel Castiel. He... He's dead now but... he was like your best friend for years. It's a long long story but... You're telling me that a demon turned you into a vampire... and then what? You turned me too? And we've been vampires for ten years?"

Incestuous vampires, Sammy. Don't forget that part. He has been calling you baby this whole time. Oh... and you shared a bed apparently. Uh oh, Sammy... looks like you may have to pucker up. Again, he tried to ignore the angel in the corner and it's chuckles.

"Wait...angels are real and I was friends with one?". He looked beyond confused but shook his head, that wasn't important right now.

"I'm not like the vampires we've seem I'm a lot stronger and I only have two fangs and yeah...yeah I turned you. I was a vampire for a coupe months and you were realizing we weren't gonna find a way to change me back and that I wasn't going to age but you would and I'd be left alone, so you told me to turn you.". Ok, so there was more to their story than that but he'd gotten most of it.

Well... everything sounded like something he'd do so... guess he had to believe it. Stranger things have happened over the last year.

"But there's a cure. Our grandfather knew of a cure for vampirism. That's how we turned you back after you got turned."

You probably shouldn't tell him that was your fault though, Sammy. Might get a little confusing in there. Ooooh, ooooh. Ask him about the bed thing. I wanna know what happens.

Sam once again ignored the angel and took a deep breath. "But I'm sure that I didn't know about that then. What... What else? We've been vampires for a decade now?" Wow... That'd be a weird life.

"no, you looked everywhere for a cure. Wait..I was a vampire? Our grandfather was a hunter?". He just felt so fucking lost.

Sam shook his head and waved a hand to calm the other man. "Never mind. It doesn't matter. What else happened? You said something about Lilith?"

"yeah, I mean we never met her but we had to deal with one of her daughters for a bit who took an interest in me. She was one of the first vampires and wanted me to be her little play toy. You ripped her apart though," he smiled fondly at the memory.

"I ripped apart a daughter of Lilith?" Apparently becoming a vampire made you protective and violent. He didn't even know that Lilith had daughters. "Okay... What else?"

"That's it, we went around Europe, hung out at vampire clubs, and have pretty much just been having fun for the past decade. It's been pretty fucking awesome, not gonna lie."

Wow... Part of him wished he had that life.

Except for the whole fucking your brother thing, right Sammy? Or did you start enjoying it when I took Dean's face in Hell? I never could tell... You did stop struggling as much when I looked like him.

Oh, he really wished that he had a way to turn off the commentary from time to time. "So... running around eating people and hanging out with other vampires for the last 10 years. Sounds fun..." He gave Dean an awkward smile and stood up, going for the other chair... that only had three legs on it so he had to balance himself on it as he thought.

"Went to Europe, huh? How'd that go?"

For the first time in years he was a little ashamed for the way he lived, knowing Sam must be a little disturbed at the idea that they killed people. "We tried not to kill people for awhile, we tried to keep each ther in check but it's hard not to. But if we stay in vamp clubs there's usually a no kill policy, humans go in there for sex and to be bitten...those twilight movies did wonders for us," he grinned for the first time since he woke up. "That's where we were last night, at our favorite club. And Europe...it was fun. You got to geek out a art and history and all that shit and I got alcohol and awesome food and women, it was a blast. You seemed to really dig France and we both really liked Scotland."

Sam tried to clear things up for himself as he listened to Dean speak. Europe sounded fun at least. He doubted he'd ever get to go there in this reality. Well... They went to Scotland for two days but didn't really get to do anything before they had to come back. And he was soulless at the time so he really didn't care about anything at that moment... Kind of a waste of a trip.

"Vamp clubs sound weird..." It was the only thing he could think of saying at the moment. He was too busy listening to Lucifer ask him dirty and disgusting questions.

Dean shrugged a little, "yeah I thought they we too, but they saved my ass before I was willing to get my own food. We tried to just have me drink from blood bags and it almost killed me so that didn't work too well. Plus there are a few we go to a lot so we can pretty much do anything we want there, hell at Nate's we have our own room."

"Nate's another vampire? A friend of our's?" If this was real... Why don't they go to Nate? Maybe the vampire could help them?

"Yeah, he's been helping us out since I was first turned. We're pretty much his favorite soap opera."
