[Rei is in the music room with her violin. The device is sitting on the piano and the shot is framed slightly off center so that she's off to the side of the frame. The music is fast and turbulent, at times discordant, but always superbly played.

Then something jostles the camera to reveal eight bony, distended black wings radiating from her back

[She stops playing and lowers the violin.]

Elaine.

[demiurgos_girl]

You have... [Wings, she wants to say. But now she notices the figure hanging over Rei.] What is that thing? Behind you!

[second_first]

What thing? It's only me here.

[demiurgos_girl]

No, there's something... [She wonders if it's like with the ghosts back home, where only she can see them. Wary, she glances over her own shoulder, checking to see if there's something there.]

You should leave that room.

[second_first]

[She looks at the violin in her hands.]

[demiurgos_girl]

It's not safe. [At the same time, her eyes flick to the black wings. Whatever that thing was, it was doing something to Rei. She didn't seem like herself. Elaine remembers the post Kite had made.]

[demiurgos_girl]

[second_first]

[She looks at the violin in her hands.]

I'm not really Rei. Part of me is missing. Part of the first is gone and I'm not... [She trails off, not really sure how to explain.]

[demiurgos_girl]

No matter what happened before, there's only one Rei I know. And that's you.

[second_first]

[second_first]

[Rei's wings flex behind her. She looks down.]

Aren't you an angel, Elaine?

[demiurgos_girl]

Half angel. [She glances at the wings, and at her own, wondering what Rei was leading up to.]
