Quick update
1-Did not see the girl this weekend, because harmonyangel came to visit! We had a lovely week of gaming and writing and me forcing her to watch all the things. (ToQger, some Gokaiger, Power Rangers, Pacific Rim.) Also we came in second at sports trivia which is a violation of the natural order of things.
2-ToQger is amazing. harmonyangel described it as Tim Burton attacks Thomas the Tank Engine. Everything about it is delightful so far, and I highly recommend it based on the first two episodes.
3-Super Megaforce continues to be delightful. It's got much stronger characterization than the first half of the season did, and the preview for next week should a) look super familiar to Gokaiger fans and b) is really exciting.
3a- Sadly, the key marketing is not delightful, and there is no other explanation other than sexism. Which I've been discussing on twitter all day. Which somehow ended in me agreeing to be on a podcast to discuss it. Oops. I have never done a podcast before, but I guess this could be fun? We'll see.
4-The movie/tv date with the girl has been moved to this weekend. I am very excited. :)
5-I got talked into buying a 2DS and all the Pokemon. Alllllllllllll the pokemon. Oops.
6-Everyone on twitter is freaking out about the Dino Charge and Dino Super Charge announcement. Which, yes, the name is stupid, just name a series Super Force already and get it out of your systems. But can we just get through super megaforce before we start panicking over the next seasons?
