[Roslyn stepped back from the table with a nod, glancing over the laid out silverware and water glasses to make sure they were correct.

The lobster tails would be finished steaming in a minute or two, the green beans were draining in the sink, the rolls were cooling next to the angel food cake that had come out of the oven earlier, the fresh strawberry glaze was chilling in the fridge...

Maybe it was too much? Maybe she shouldn't have brought the white wine. She could just leave it in the grocery bags to the side of the kitchen and use it to cook with for the rest of the week. That would be safer. It would be used that way, it was better than leaving it in her garage forever...She pulled the wine glasses from their places and hid them in a cupboard to be put away later.

She twisted to pull the lobster pot off the stove, stepping aside to grab the potatoes as the steam fled the pan.]

Jason!

[He had been in his observatory when she returned from the market, after an awkward trip of helping her carry her bag to his room...Roslyn shook her head and dumped the potatoes into a serving bowl, repeating the motion with the rolls before carrying them to the table.]

Come eat!

[She returned to the counter to plate the lobster tails and settled into a chair, clasping her hands under the table to wait for him.]
