(no subject)

i went to the school christian fellowship group a while back and the guy said something that kinda bothered me. he said that when christ enteres into ones life, every aspect of their life should grey and fade and dull. i, on the other hand quite dissagree with this 'exclusive' view of having christ in ones life. living a life through christ should be an 'inclusive' act, that brightens and gives colour to all aspects of life. everything should be done for christ, and christ deserves colour, not grey. and this brings me to another point. most so called ' hard core christians' live exclusive lives, where, they exclude themselves from living a full life and live only in the 'goody-good' sense of it where they shun all 'colour' instead on brightening it with the highlight of god. it makes me question the validity of their faith. their faith should extend to all aspect of their life, rather than them throwing parts of their life away so they can live as 'christians.' they should live boundless lives because god is boundless rather than binding their lives in their suposed religion. and for my last point, those bounded christians have a certain comic to their evangilization because no one can relate to their 'perfect' lives. they toss to the buzzards the parts of their life where they needed christ most, and one without christ is longing christ because they feel empty in these same parts. if one doesn't have christ, they can't relate to that kind of christian, because they don't see themselves in it. they are actually put off by it and see it as an insult because it is a direct scream stating "you're wrong, you are dirty, you are bad...going to hell...!" yelled throught the expulsion of such unchristian behavior instead of letting christ into them. they need to see something real and reality is that christ is boundless and one dosn't have to change themselves for christ, but let christ change you. that fact is not apparent if the evangilizator (hmmm. sounds so forcefull, ironic isn't it?) is a goody two shoes who molded themselves into this barbie of christian principle. that is what i call 'christian superficiality.' and for my real last point, evangalization should not rhyme with extermination or demolition or destruction, but should be a subconscious result of living with christ brightening every aspect of your life so that all can see and are amazed by your colours. that is part of my creed. peace out.
