Yes, I'm still here (wait, that's not supposed to be a pun)
I suspect many of you think I'm no longer around, and in most respects, I haven't been.
However, the following does bear mentioning:
Earlier this month, work announced that my position will be moving to the Raleigh/Durham (Research Triangle) area of North Carolina. I am welcome (and highly encouraged) to move along with it.
This is, as it is for most of my impacted coworkers, a complicated and difficult decision.
Time frame? I need to tender my decision if I am moving or not moving by 5/31. I can actually quit before I move (instead of moving), at the cost of paying any relo benefits collected (if any). I could move as early as this July, or as late as September 2013.
I'll be going down for a site visit next weekend (solo), and hopefully for a second in May (with wren)
