1. I really respect you. You are a sincere and real person. You make others feel comfortable. You so intensely love God, but your head isn't up in the clouds; your feet are firmly planted on the ground. I only pray that I can serve you as much as you have served me. It is an honour to know you.
2. You are a beautiful human being. People love to be around you. You make them feel safe. You have a love for your friends that you express in the most unobtrusive, simple ways. People love you because you are genuinely friendly and do your best to build people up around you. I have honestly never heard anyone speak negatively about you, and I completely understand why.
3. You have taught me more than you will ever realise. Your honesty and courage to rebuke me inspire me to live my life in a God-honouring way. You are strong and level-headed, but the times you've made yourself vulnerable before me touched me deeply. It is a blessing to be able to spend time with you. I hope that I am a blessing to you too.
4. Words cannot begin to describe your beautiful character. The way you live to serve others is both an encouragement and a rebuke to me. Being in your presence is like lying in the shade in a cool breeze, watching clouds go by.
5. You have seen me at my worst. You know the depths to which I have fallen. I can only pray that seeing how God has lifted me up gives you a deeper understanding of his grace. I don't know what the future holds for us, but I know that you have played one of the largest roles in shaping the person that I am today. I thank you, and I pray that you will be deeply blessed.
6. I miss you. You were the best friend I've ever had. Just being with you made moments special. I'm sorry for my foolishness. I'm sorry that I hurt you. I hope that one day we can look each other in the eye and find love there, because that's all I've ever had for you. And I know that there was a time you would have said the same.
7. You have the potential to be a really beautiful person, but at the moment you are very lost. I pray that God will help you find your way.
8. I wish everyone could be like you. You are so self-assured, but you don't lord it over others. You radiate beauty into the world without a hint of self-consciousness.
9. Ah. You are a breath of fresh air. There have been days when I've felt empty and depressed, but the moment you walked into the room I felt invigorated and loved.
10. I am so glad I have had the honour to have you in my life. I don't think many people understand you, but you are one of the most wonderful people I've met. The energy and sincerity with which you live your life is delightful to see.
