Some improvments

Yesterday when I got home, my father was just finishing up installing a second return grille for the AC unit. Wow, what a difference. There was 2-3 degree difference and my the time I wen to bed the AC was not struggling to keep it at 77. Instead was off and the house was at 75-76. With just this one addition I think that my energy bill will be noticeably lower.

Don't know what combination of changes did it but I got to sleep last night. As I mentioned before I don't think I have been getting into deep sleep for the past week. Been nodding off durning the day and I think it has to do with me getting too hot at night and waking up from the discomfort. Last night I had the house down to 75 and I had both my ceiling and floor fan on in my bedroom.

Now I did wake up three times but I know for sure that two of the times I woke up from deep sleep. I remember at least one dream from it and today I did not have the urge to sleep while working at my desk.

If I can repeat that tonight I will feel much better.

Pushing myself a little more in the exercise. I now can jog almost half a mile of my mile walk. Now when I go to the gym on my own I do two miles. The next time they have a 5K walk around here I want to participate. I know its just a bit over three miles and that is easy for most out there but that will be a land mark moment for me!

I did find one thing interesting when I am at the gym. I am MUCH better off not taking my mp3 player or have a multi function phone . I see a lot of people there that are working out and I think they spend more time on their devices than working out. The key to getting something out of the workout is to do it while your heart rate is up. If it drops too low you are not getting all you can out of the workout.
I see a guy lifting weights and then stops to change to song list on his phone. Others will use a station to sit at while they are texting then do one rep at WAY low weight and then move on.
Mostly a pet peeve of mine since I am more concentrating on shedding more fat. Been at a stand still for a while now and its getting frustrating. But I am not going to give up this time. I can just see myself in smaller shirts, able to get in the rowing machine and not hit my gut every time. I want to reach over a table and not worry that my belly is going to knock something down. >.
