need to focus
Did my broadcast last night. Really got into a bad mood by the time I quit. Don't know what did it but I was working on a couple of sketches and felt I was spinning my wheels.
Today I got home and got started on some other pics. I wanted to do an update this weekend and I don't have much and really I could have a lot more. Inking is a lot easier with the one downside. I do spend some times fixing things. so much so that it takes me a day when it used to take me hours.
Got a clean pic finished tonight. Weeding out sketches of pics that are finished to find those that still need to move up to inks. Also pulled some sketches from my new organized files and get those ready to ink as well.
Other things, Onto the third book of "A Game of Thrones" Ever know what a power vacuum is read at least the first three books. But this one is a heavy political theme in a low fantasy setting. Really good as long as you can keep up with the names. I think we are up to 30 named characters now.
Work is settling in. Been messing with the banner making, vinyl cutting and sign making. Now I am working on making a proof of customer art and doing some major fixes on artwork.
It really sobers you up when you know everything else that goes into making a good screen print of any kind of art and illustration. Color separation is a pain in the ass and anything that is black or a percentage of black most likely is "Rich Black" and not "True Black" Remember this when you want something screen printed and there is going to be a color separation.
Its a pain but working on proofs gives me a chance to rest my lower back even if only for 3 hours of the day.
