oops did not post daily for four days
Sigh. Good habits are so hard to get started.
First let's get the crap out of the way. I wanted to quit my job today. Cindy called me into her office. Several people have complained about me, not to me, of course, but to her. About my attitude, about me being rude (one was an out and out lie), about internet use, Geeze would these children get a life! Cindy was pretty cool, I was alternating between tears and fury all afternoon.
I must be just polite and nothing more to these women; there is not a mensch amongst them. I could complain about the crap they pull but what is the fucking point! Life is too short and work can suck by itself without adding to the mix.
To be fair: valid point = I interrupted Jane's lunch one day.
I have been brusque a couple of times to Wendy because I have suppressed so much where she is concerned. sigh.
Think polite, think kind think long term financial benefits and the kid in college. sigh.
Anyhow vented to Angel and Rachel and released some of the bottled up emotions, don't really care now.
Thanksgiving was ok, enjoyed hanging out with Rachel and Nicole and Lee. Rachel and Lee got into it because he wanted to drive back early due to traffic and having to get me home as I had to work Friday. Saw her gorgeous snake and glad she got a heater for it.
Friday was quiet and we got to leave at 3pm. Best and scariest part was seeing Tara and Sam and doing healings with other lodge members. I left early exhausted, more emotional rather than Reiki I think.
Saturday was ok for a birthday, the most fun I had was actually tripping around the farmer's market early. Two booths gave me little prezzies for my birthday which surprised me. Danville is always difficult because of the food issue. I also did not have the money go as far as I wanted nor did I feel particularly attractive in anything other than stuff that had to be dry cleaned. But I played it practical other than one kind of fem blouse and camisole that I will wear sometime over the holidays. Weird day.
Sunday just got caught up on cleaning house (minimal) and laundry (3 loads)
Monday we had the crappy gas fumes again from the sprinkler system pipes, and I went home after 4 hours. Guess that is when the ladies went to the boss about me. :)
Anyhow that is up to present time, mundane post that it is. :)
Ah, joined a new pagan group, has some interesting courses. have not posted anything yet, just reading.
