Sassy Minibang!
Erm, yes. I'm back again. *sheepish*
I've signed up as a writer for the Sassy Minibang! Just thought I'd share. :D
A little part of me is wondering what the HELL I'm doing. The last big bang I signed up for was one I spectacularly did not succeed in. That big bang would be the two-years-in-progress fic I'm still wrestling with. Yep. That one.
Still, maybe a change of scene would do me good. Writing two fics at once, one of which has an official deadline... how hard can it be? Right? Right? *chews fingernails nervously*
All the same... I'm quite excited! The worry will kick in soon, I'm sure, but right now I'm all keyed up about it. I have to write a minimum of 10,000 words and the first draft is due October 28th. That feels so far away - practically Hallowe'en! - but I know it's not really. It's just under three months and I have to remember that and not get over-confident. *strikes determined pose* And the first check in is September 16th. Not sure quite what that entails, to be honest, but it's early days yet to be stressing about that. I'll concentrate on getting my plot first. ;)
Let's see... I have an idea for a really detailed AU but I'm not sure I can commit to that when I'm doing another detailed AU fanfic and dealing (or not) with real life. Maybe I should go with a shorter plot... *ponders* Well, I'll be brainstorming tonight and hopefully the writing muse will grace me with her presence.
