Yay for movies!
I just thought I'd write something because I know this is a little place where you guys check up on me to see how I'm doing and what's going on. I'm busy as usual and almost to the brink of losing sanity because of it, but very happy!
I've been watching quite a lot of movies lately and here's a little list! There's been a great lot of wonderful movies coming out to make up for the horrible summer releases.
- Snakes on a plane
There was one scene that made me scream... Gotta love those one liners too.
- The Departed
I saw the HongKong version after seeing the American release and I like the American version better. Really great performances from Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio and Jack Nickelson.
- The Prestige
Wolverine versus Batman! It's got Golum too! No, really, it's a great movie with a nice twist in the end.
- Stranger than fiction
I don't like romantic comedies but this one was actually really cute and I didn't expect that Will Ferrell was capable of doing drama. I guess this is his bid for drama performances just like Jim Carey's Truman Show.
- Dawn of the dead (original)
I've never seen it and I really love the remake. I thought I was going to be disappointed after seeing Land of the Dead but thankfully it wasn't loaded and forced with horrible political references! Yay! Maybe it was and I was just too ignorant to realize what they were but there sure were a lot of jabs at materialism / capitalism...
- The Specials
I want an action figure. Kek.
There's a nice sale going on at Tower Records over here so I finally decided to pick up the English Fruit's Basket Manga and Sin City. I didn't get the chance to get the entire Fruit's basket collection so I'm still missing 6-9 and 11. If you plan to get me a presento, HINT HINT!!!

- Death Note ( That L is so HAWT! )
- Cooking Master Boy ( Watching this makes me hungry... I also didn't think that cooking required lightning speed reflexes and powah! )
- Welcome to the NHK ( My life would've been like that if things turned out differently... It's scary. O_O)
- Mushishi ( horns = wierd ethereal creature is living in your ear... koff* )
I've also finished two more dollies. A busty blond and a muscular GI Joe! Let me know if you're interested, clothes are included.
