Stuff..
Well, yesterday was hell at work, but today wasn't quite so bad..
So, this weekend is Tax Free Weekend, and it is like 3 days of Black Friday in the middle of August.
Usually I am up in the front lanes- the checkout. But they decided for some reason to put me in Customer Service and the Geek Squad. So.. instead of a slightly busier than normal day, I had a terrible day with very upset customers.
So, this morning, Paul gave me an Admiral Akbar action figure (he is the squid guy from Star Wars) and he said to keep him in my pocket and whenever I had a bad customer just look at him and think "It's a TRAP!"
Well, it worked. Besides one bitch that took close to an hour (YEAH, AN HOUR) and causing me to be very late for lunch (with so many people we had scheduled lunches, so that threw everyone off that I had to wait so long) I really didn't have all that terrible of a day. I am sure that the two Red Bulls that I had in the morning helped.
And... I love my husband to death. He bought me something for my birthday, it is big and heavy and on our unused dining room table. But we had no birthday wrapping paper, so it is wrapped in red paper with white snowflakes on it. But I still have a week before my birthday, so I am DYING to know what is in it. That isn't fair. I don't wanna wait till the 14th...
So, the last day of Hell, I mean Tax Free Weekend is tomorrow and then I have the next two days off. Whew. I need it.
