As I understand it, they give you the decongestant to break up the fluid on your lungs, so you will cough more (but it is actually emptying stuff now). Rest up and take care of yourself!

Yeah, but I am so sore from coughing. My chest is sore and my freaking cheeks are sore too. I have never had that. I dread every upcoming cough.
