fics
I have been participating in the http://community.livejournal.com/fma_fic_contest/profile for the last couple of weeks, and it has been getting me in the mood to write more.
I am gearing up to really write my "Dogs of the Militaary" story that I started last year- I posted up a prologue and had been writing some notes and outline for the whole story, but since I took a break from writing and for the most part anime in general, it was put on the shelf. But there is a community that I found- the FMA Big Bang Challenge- http://community.livejournal.com/fma_big_bang/profile. You write one large or several small fic that total 15-20k words, and I think this is the perfect excuse to work on it. It is going to be a mostly manga based (though not sticking STRICTLY to every chapter) story that will have an eventual Mustang and Havoc pairing- and yes it will deal with *THAT* chapter.
That shouldnt really gear up until October or such, so I want to get a little practice in. So I am doing the Fic Contest, and I also just signed up for the http://community.livejournal.com/10_hurt_comfort/profile. This should be interesting, as I am going to attempt some Hughes and Mustang writing. I can think of a lot of hurt and comfort there.
And somewhere in all of this I am trying to reread the mangas, up to the 20th book that has been released in the US. I want to bone up on what is going on. I have been falling behind and getting lost in the action.
So just some updates, if anyone even reads this any more after my long break.
I am also gonna post up a couple of the older Fic contest stories I wrote, including one I forgot to post to the community, so it was never read by anyone (except me of course)
