Alright guys, I want to ask my friends first before I go to the various LJ groups.

My beta for the Jean x Maria series "Gains and Losses" has a lot going on in her life right now, and she needs time for her other pursuits, which I totally understand.

havocmangawip is an awesome beta, and now that she is devoting more time to her fic, I cant wait to see how it ( Read more... )

Okay, I will need your email address, and if possible, an AIM or Y!messenger if you have one. That will make it easier to discuss things if we need to.

Now a couple of things. As I said, this is a work of het fiction, but you are getting into the part where it starts to get hot and heavy, so there will be.. ahem.. sexual activities going on. So if this bothers you, tell me now.

Also, I need you to be brutally honest. Please don't feel that you are going to hurt my feelings. I promise that you won't. I NEED to get honest feedback. There are going to be things wrong, please don't say it needs nothing. I am sure it will. That is why I need a beta. :)

Speed is not a factor, but hopefully you can get back to me in a somewhat timely manner. I am really not picky about that, though.

I would really like to be able to chat. It makes the process more interactive and much faster. AIM and Y!messenger are free, so hopefully we can get that set up.

Alright, that is about as much as I can think of.. Oh yeah, and if you haven't, PLEASE read the first 14 chapters that I have up. A beta needs to know what is going on with the characters and the story and such so they can stay IC and on plot.

PS, I have 14 posted, 15 is going to be posted in the next couple of days, and I have 16 done and 17 partially done, so there is already one fic waiting to be beta'd!
