Yeah, you picked it out.. that is *EXACTLY* when I was thinking about, that flashback in episode 25. I had a hard time actually fiding a screen shot to see what they were wearing in that flashback. (and I found out later I got the color of Maes' pants wrong.. oops)

Oh please please please.. whatever that fic is, please write it.. I love anything with these two!!!

It is wierd, when Breda says that, not the one he is waiting for, I immediatly assumed that he was talking about Ed, which always confused me.

*blush* I am REALLY glad that you like it. It is an honor to have my work so well loved. I actually REALLY stuggled with the ending last night.. you can ask my beta, hehe. She had to sit thru my IMs, bitching about how tough it was. She is a saint to put up with me.

Maes is smart, I think he would remember things like that, even with his wife, Roy was his first real love, and that doesnt happen every day.

oh how I love the way you write this series. You stay pretty true to the story but add in the delicious detail that we never saw. Poor Poor Maes! *sighs* the depth of this character makes me want to write buckets of stories about him.

W.T.F.? Years had gone by before they made love again? That's just not right. Hughes could have easily had his family and had his Roy. Obviously they live near each other. obviously they still loved each other. obviously gracia knew maes loves roy. there is no reason hughes should have had to choose one or the other. it was 2 different kinds of love he had for Gracia and Roy. To deny any part of love is just damned wrong. i was actually pained when i read the part about them sitting at the table and it had been years since they had been "together". How could you do that to them? and to show roy as a broken, lonely soldier/person with a messy house and empty drink glasses all over; and even worse to have him beg to share his love with hughes. roy is a proud and strong man. you should never have portrayed him so broken. i am mad and angry and sad and disappointed...and did i say angry and sad? would it have been so bad it they had been together sometimes? it would have been so much more beautiful if when hughes left he could have said ( ... )

That Roy is killing me. Hughes is all right having his family and Gracia (oh god some day I'm gonna kill her...) and everything. How dare he abandon Roy like this! I was hoping you'd write they could be together. I really hoped that. And now I'm sad 'cause you made Roy suffer and goddamnit BEG Hughes to be with him! That's just not right. I can't understand how Roy can take it.

You are a cruel person, you know? And I still love your fics... though this is too much to take. This is a fic, you could've make some changes in their lives. You could have.

Damn you. You got me all emotional again.
