So, Christmas was super. I got totally geeky with my holiday. iPod speakers, a new video card for the gaming machine, a gig of RAM, some movies, some music. And a busload of sweaters. That was my 'normal' gift. :) You need to do that every now and then, though. Sweaters have a casualty rate. They get holes, or shrink, or get a stain, or whatever. There's attrition in the sweater population, yearly. Every so often, you just need to stock back up. I was seriously down to like 6 sweaters that I actually enjoyed wearing, and anyone who knows me knows that not nearly enough! So, I doubled up, and now I'm happy again. Mmm. If I'm going to live somewhere that you can predict 50 degrees and rainy, and be correct for 9 months out of the year, I need sweaters. ;)
I also got a bit of cash. I'm seriously tempted to go rescue another kitten. Lucius would love the company, I have no doubt. And really, adding a second cat isn't all that much more work. We'll see. I'm still debating.
NYE was relatively sedate. I went to a party that a work friend was hosting, and had a decent time, but nothing too spectacular. I see all those people every day, and we're silly there. The only thing different this go around was that most of us were hammered. Which is amusing, but nothing to write home about. The REAL celebration came two days later, when my Buckeyes kicked the stuffing out of Notre Dame. Yay. Go Bucks!
If you get some replies from days old posts, that's probably me. :) I haven't been on for the last week or so, and I'm going through my backlog. Loves.
