In distress
I shouldn't have driven myself to the ER. It made the bleeding worse. I probably have blood all over my butt now, but I guess I don't care. I'm probably losing my baby, and that's what I should care about. I really should care about that.
"I'm bleeding." I tell the woman at the desk, and glance down at my swollen belly. "I'm only 7 months. I think something's wrong."
She hands me some paperwork and picks up the intercom. God, pain! "Owww!!!" I scream and drop the clipboard with a clatter. It's the last thing I remember.
