I sign the last of my charts at ten minutes to five. I head to the locker room and change into the street clothes I brought with me this morning. Derek walks in, and I set Ana down, turning her around to see him. "Look, Ana. Daddy's here."

[dr_d_shepherd]

"Hey there Princess," I say bending down to give her hugs and kisses. "Did you have a good day?"

[dr_a_sloane]

I let Ana answer for herself, smirking at the gibberish with some words sprinkled in.

"She wants to know where you're taking us," I say as I zip up my bag.

[dr_d_shepherd]

"No, I think her mother wants to know," I reply picking Ana up and settling her on my hip.

[dr_a_sloane]

I grab my bag, my laptop, Ana's diaper bag, and my purse. "Are we taking two cars or leaving one here?"

[dr_d_shepherd]

"We can leave one here, it'll be easier that way."

I reach and take the diaper bag fro her, slinging it over my shoulder with my bag.

I shut the lights off in my office, and lock and close the door behind us. "Only about five minutes late. That's not so bad."

[dr_d_shepherd]

"We're doing good," I grin as we walk to the elevator.

[dr_a_sloane]

I notice Ana's glasses have fingerprint smudges on them, and I pull them off to clean them with the hem of my dress.

"Are we eating first? If not, we should give her a little snack so she doesn't have a meltdown."

[dr_d_shepherd]

"Yeah, we're going to eat first," I reply. We step into the elevator and I push the button for the ground floor. "I'll drive."

"I assumed as much. You are a man, and therefore a control freak."

[dr_d_shepherd]

"I'm not a control freak Addie."

I shake my head before Ana's head. This is going to be fun.

We get to Derek's car, and I put all of the bags in the back. I climb into the passenger seat while he puts Ana in the back.

Once Ana is strapped in I show her one of the toys laying next to her. That should keep her entertained for a bit.

I climb into the drivers seat and start the car.

He starts to drive, and I want to know where we're going. I decide I can't ask since I just called him a control freak. Instead, I pull my phone out to check my email.

"It's going to be fun, stop worrying," I assure her with a smile.
