My new bed is awesome. I could film a commercial for it today. I swear, I haven't felt this good since way before I got pregnant. Jackson hasn't stayed over to enjoy my bed with me because we always had a reason not to. I wonder if it's for the best. Is it kind of whorey to sleep with a guy while another guy's baby is in my uterus? Probably

I clear my throat as I approach the gurney Aubrey is on, "It looks like you're slacking, Dr. Parker," I tease.

I slide my arm up and crack an eye open. "I hate plastics," I mutter. "I'm hiding."

"I think I might hide with you," I say sitting on the end of the gurney with my back against the wall.

[dr_aubreyparker]

I move my feet to make room for him. "I want to go home and sleep in my new bed, but I have to get my stuff in my motel room."

[drjacksonavery]

"You and that bed," I say shaking my head. "Do you have a lot of stuff? I mean if there's not much you could probably move it tonight."

[dr_aubreyparker]

"Not really. All my clothes, shoes, books, and guitars. And CDs. That's pretty much it."

[drjacksonavery]

"So if we manage to get out of here at a decent hour tonight, you could probably move your stuff tonight and then you can stop living in two places at once."

[dr_aubreyparker]

"And I can check out finally."

[drjacksonavery]

"Yes you can," I say with a smile. "Although I'm not sure when we're going to be able to leave tonight, Karev really has been swamped."

[dr_aubreyparker]

"I know, and that one patient is ridiculous. I can't believe how much work she needs."

[drjacksonavery]

"I know, she's not very receptive either," I say, looking over at her.

[dr_aubreyparker]

"Understatement of the year. The last time I had a belligerent little teenager like this, she almost gave me HIV. So needless to say, she's not my favorite patient."

[drjacksonavery]

"Yeah mine either," I say. "I prefer the old ladies in cardio."

[dr_aubreyparker]

"Oh no, don't tell me you like cardio. I think I'm going to have to stop seeing you if that's the case."

[drjacksonavery]

"It's good, not sure it's my favourite though," I reply. "I just don't feel like I know any field well enough to know that that's what I want to do."

[dr_aubreyparker]

"Luckily for you, you don't have to choose right now. I don't think we'll be out of here too late. We might be able to squeeze it in."
