This hospital is exactly what I've been craving. Mercy West in functionality is a good hospital but it's not one I like to admit working at. On a scale of county hospitals to Hilton hospitals it's too close to county for my liking.
Seattle Grace on the other hand, Seattle Grace is exactly the roost I've been looking to rule.
For more than one reason.
After wrapping up a stellar interview for the chief of medicine position, I walk down the glass lined catwalk and take in the view. I know I have that position and I know it's only a matter of days until I'm unpacking my office and getting the keys to my new kingdom.
I see their chief of surgery barreling towards me on a pair of stilts more suited for the catwalk than a surgeon and I grin to myself.
