Angry For Awhile
I considered not coming home tonight, but that won't fix any of what went wrong today. What I really need is answers and the only place I will be able to find those is in Aubrey, who I am assuming is still at the house, unless she's run over to Mercy West.
I can believe that she went over there but I can't believe I proposed to her and we are having a child and this minor detail she forgot to mention to me. It's an important detail of our life. Of our careers.
She made me look like an ass in front of my boss, who is also my ex wife and mother to my child. I just can't believe she didn't tell me.
Thank God the drive home is long, because I've needed the entire day and then some to calm down from this mess. I park my truck and get out, not even bothering to bring my bag inside. I let myself in and greet the dog, heading straight for the kitchen to get something to eat.
